LED Systems for Vehicles: Performance and Style with Hikari

Technical lighting for a food truck, especially when it comes to illuminating technical machinery and attracting people's attention, must be designed with a balance between functionality and visual appeal. The main objective is to provide adequate light for technical operations, ensuring functional visibility and eye-catching effects, both day and night.

Working with BBM, a leading food truck manufacturing company, represented an exciting and highly technical challenge for Hikari. The project focused on the creation of functional and scenographic LED lighting, capable of enhancing both the technical machinery inside the food truck and the external appearance, designed to attract the attention of customers.

In the design phase, the main objective was to ensure that the machinery was illuminated optimally, avoiding reflections and shadow areas. This was possible by positioning the LEDs strategically, using different color temperatures to enhance the metal surfaces and ensure an efficient and clean working environment. The uniform distribution of light allowed every corner of the operational area to be illuminated, ensuring convenience during food preparation.

As for the external appearance, we have integrated colored LED strips along the perimeters and around the signs, programmable to change color and pulsate gradually. This approach created a dynamic visual effect, increasing the visibility of the food truck even from afar and especially in the evening hours. The backlighting of logos and writings added a further scenographic level, strengthening the identity of the BBM brand.

Finally, the use of durable, energy-efficient LEDs ensured that the lighting was able to withstand external conditions, ensuring long life and reduced energy consumption, key elements for the optimal operation of a moving food truck.
